I heard the SFPD using this term the other day in reference to some kind of law enforcement officers or vehicle type. What does it mean?

"Poor boy" sounds like "Four Boy" which is sfpd radio slang for a traffic motor unit.

Ok, that sounds like a real answer. Also explains the degree of concern I was hearing. An SUV (Escalade I think) had gone out of control for blocks down Market Street and hit a "Four Boy", among many other things and left a wake of debris and destruction.
