DSDPlus [FL] v2.205 - Single tuner mode (-r1) with 'Control channel hunting enabled'
- TIII (TAIT) DMR
- In 'Channel Activity' window:
What is seen is, at the end of a call when all parties are finished, I see the call entry start flashing for a number of seconds before it finally disappears. see GIF below.
This behavior is only noticed while a call has occurred on slot 2 of the same frequency as CC.
It is not seen on any other frequencies of the same network/site.

Commandlines used:
Code:
DSDPlus -o6 -r1 -e -O NUL -i20001

FMP24 -a0 -i1 -o20001 -P-1 -g29.7 -b-7.6 -_1

I see the same thing here on TIII systems. At the end of a call, DSD+ goes back to monitoring the control channel slot, but the control channel is still broadcasting grant / late entry messages for the call, so DSD+ goes back to the voice channel slot. This continues until either the late entry messages stop or DSD+ tunes to a different voice call.

It seems this is not exclusive to just the same frequency as the CC as I first described.
It's a little more busier on the network today and I'm seeing the described flashing on the other frequencies of the network/site, but when seen on these frequencies DSDPlus/FMP24 is rapidly switching back and forth from CC to the traffic channel in between 'overs'.

Another thing seen is a call is abandoned in the middle of a call and switches to another call that is in progress either on the same traffic channel or to another traffic channel. No priorities are set/used.

An yet another thing:
When pressing 'C' with the 'Event Log' window focused, it cycles through these three messages:

#1 Control channel lock enabled; trunked voice/data monitoring blocked (Default and work "OK")

#2 Control channel hunting disabled (NoVF)

#3 Control channel lock disabled; trunked voice/data monitoring unblocked (NoCCH NoVF)
#3 Control channel hunting disabled

#1 works as expected, excluding issues described.
When #2,#3 are used in 'single receiver monitoring mode' (DMR) I see the following:
A call plays on slot 2 only if on the same frequency as CC, the call entry (in 'Channel Activity') is shown but the active call entry is not highlight or Bold. When many calls are in progress, it's unknown which is the active call.

I would expect #2 to work OK like #1.
#3, I guess this is normal not to follow trunking. Not sure I understand the use of 'trunked voice/data monitoring (un)blocked'. Why would this be needed?

It would seem that "DSDPlus" don't offer support on this forum as their last seen/activity was May 12th 2018.
I guess I will have to shoot them an email to determine if this behavior should happen or not.
