POTUS in San Francisco 2/12/15 thru 2/14/15

I checked the San Jose and Oakland WebTraks and I was able to find a few aircraft. The first image is a helicopter with the callsign Huntman 1 and the second image is an aircraft that was on final approach at SFO around the same time that the president touched down. Based on the time that this aircraft was on final at SFO, I believe that this aircraft is Air Force 1.

An AS65 is likely a USCG helo

Aha! I was thinking of the old frequencies. Hadn't updated my 436 SCC database in a while. Thanks. Do you have info you could submit to the database for their DMR Cap+ system? It's probably way too late now, but for future visits.

AF1 was using the '7412' Squawk/Beacon when it came to SFO on Thursday.
Live-Mode-S didn't have any Mode-S hits on Friday for 92-9000.
He must have used the Marine 1 helicopter on Friday.

Look for Air Force One leaving San Francisco to Southern California(Palm Springs Airport)
It will be listed on the text list only. Select the 'America' feed under Menu>receiver.

The aircraft incursion might be why POTUS returned to San Francisco by motorcade up 280 rather than Marine 1. It looked like the Secret Service had the Palo Alto police clear a wider security zone than usual along the route from the campus to the highway. Parking was prohibited in the nearest rows to the street at Stanford Shopping Center, and pedestrians were held farther back than usual.

Interesting. This must have been what the traffic between Bigfoot (NORAD controller) and the Phat flight (144 Fighter Wing, CA ANG) was about on 271.0. I heard Bigfoot giving the fighters a "bullseye" and BRAA (bearing, range, altitude, aspect). I heard the fighters referencing Half Moon Bay and saying "contact him on guard." They also gave Bigfoot the violator's tail number and plane description.

Does anyone know what time POTUS will depart from SFO tomorrow?

AF 1 departure

Air Force One departed earlier this morning. 120.5 SFO Tower > 135.1 NORCAL > 133.7 OAKLAND CENTER > 127.1 LA CENTER. > 132.5 LA CENTER. Various flight levels from FL 190 to FL 250. They were also accompanied by SAM 96 (Special Air Mission), who was in trail with them.

Also, Phat 3 and 4 (144th Fighter Wing, CA Air Nat'l Guard) took off from Fresno and were headed south. 351.95 FRESNO APP/DEP > 353.8 OAKLAND CENTER > 263.0 LA CENTER. They were using 225.3 for air-air chatter.
