Guess Mr. Trump had some fighter escorts that are now thirsty.
If you are set up for it, the CAP action is on 228.9 (tanker/fighter comms) and 260.9 NOBLE fighters with Huntress. I'm sure there are more, haven't found NOBLE A/A yet but don't have a lot of time to search. Also checking the common HMX-1 freqs but nothing yet.

They're working on 247.05 as well. Can't make out the comms too well with my setup though.
164.8875 $001 TG 1 RID 1
1144h, in the Clear: "Command post, checkpoint Bravo"
in addition to the other $167's, like 170.8625, picking up 173.8625 $167 RID 3094374, all ENC of course.

OK, 247.05 may be the alternate boom freq for AAR. They were using 228.9 but were having major comms issues there. They did switch freqs but I didn't catch them in AAR after the switch.
that's pretty cool
this morning i picked up ENC traffic $167 RID 3094374 again, but on 171.0000 which was new to me.
Seems like they are running thru every channel they have this week.
also, since everyone is listening, does anyone know what the deal is with 167.5375 PL 67.0 (not sure if that is deliberately transmitted or just the scanners interpreting a PL) and the data/buzz signals. i hear it periodically but it certainly had a distinctive rhythm to it yesterday and i KNOW someone else had to have heard it too.
i have a BC365CRS with a VOX recorder running 24/7 that have both 260.9 and 228.9 programmed in it. between 0800 and 1400 yesterday i caught a transmission that went "HUNTRESS, can you confirm no one is jamming on 247.05?" thought that was kinda interesting, and confusing, but bet it explains why everyone was having trouble picking it up.
IF the radio is defaulted to Auto it sometimes will assume Analog and report 67.0 during P25
change it to P25 and you should be good.
yeah thats why i haven't brought this up before, i am hoping someone else has heard it to back me up that its not P25, cause thats the obvious answer. I have had plenty of experience with mainly unidens, like the analog only 346xt etc, showing a pl of 67.0 when p25 comes thru but its very clearly not p25 when you actually hear the signal.
if i set it up to only rx with a pl of 67.0 on one scanner and open squelch on another, they will both concurrently key up rather reliably. this is with whistler, radio shack and uniden models just fyi.
it will key up, with an open carrier type sound for a second or two, similar to what you hear if someone keys up a mike in a quiet room, and then variations of noise akin to an old fax machine/printer printing something will start. a very old school kind of tech sound. these buzzes/whatever will be something like 1-2 sec long then .5-1 sec dead air and repeat with differing durations of each. i have been hearing this for a couple of years now but its usually fairly brief in duration, total time block of an hour or less, and usually no more than 30sec to a minute at a time per transmission with variable breaks of a minute +.
a couple of years ago i was able to correlate a few, not all, instances with adsb showing one of the fed/FBI cessna type planes in the area, but eventually lost interest and don't consider it to be conclusive by any means.
yesterday during the peak monitoring period (1100-1200) there was a 1m56sec long continuous transmission that i caught with a psr800/ws1080 mod and a pro-668 that were running 163-174mhz and as they are some of the slower searching models, so if anyone else in the piedmont of NC was doing the same, they should have caught it too.
but it appears no one else is interested in sticking their neck out here.

USSS Channel Oscar, Presidential Detail.
FBI - Charlotte Office other RIDs heard there this morning were 3091103, 3091297, 3094479, 3094484, 3094485, 3094486, and 3099034, doing check ins on 167.3125, $167, some encrypted some clear. Later changed to a VIPER event channel.
All these ID's look strangly similar to the business band stuff a couple months ago.
I posted on another thread to that affect as well. They were really *****ing about this. Noble asked the taker 'who would be jamming us down here' to which the tanker replied 'the secret service' . Nobles had a very difficult copying Huntress. Tankers and Nobles could not communicate and at one point were only 12 miles in trail and had to relay position and status to each other via Huntress. I know we don't get a lot of Milcom in our area but I've never heard guys have such issues.

So many options on this one, grab the audio next time.
a. Could be bad telco pair to the radio - causing it to key up
b. radio or even Voters flaking out [heck, got one that sends DPL when the Voter get's too cold] -
c. insert from others here..

Good catch on 247.05. I knew they switched freqs for tanker boom but I didn't catch the freq nor did I have time to search for it.
