700mA + 800mA = 1500mA (or 1.5 amps)

Most single home 120VAC outlets and power strips are rated, and protected for up to 15 amps (or 15,000mA)


Standard loading is 80% of rating. 12A on a 15A circuit, and 16A on a 20A circuit.

V? What happened to E? I thought it was E = I x R and P = I x E! Next thing you'll know they'll change P to W, I to A, and R to O to totally confuse us.

Don't worry, I am not too worried about confusion at the high-school electronics level since we already got stuck on the metric system which is grade 6-8 information.:lol::twisted::lol:
