This is kind of neat. I notice there are about 4 control channels i can get from here. I have 3 radios going - BCD396XT, BCD996XT and a Pro106. however when turning them all on in sequence they seem to lock on to different channels. sometimes only one radio is getting traffic, sometimes two, and occasionally all there will have traffic, (sometimes even the same traffic). the neat part though is A46x units (moose Jaw RCMP cars) can be heard on any of the radios.
I am gathering this has something to do with the way the towers overlap their coverage
