Pre-Amp and Filter Cross Posting For Base Monitoring

I wrote up a summary about my LNA Pre-Amp and FM Broadcast notch filter for my current base receive monitoring antenna and thought I would cross post it here for anyone that needs receive performance improvements at their base location. I spend a fair amount of time here in the Uniden section and thought this might be of interest to fellow Uniden owners, especially any that are having problems receiving 700-800 MHz trunking systems.

I found a good set of RF parts that works quite well and thought I would share with others because it has expanded my monitoring range quite a bit with my existing antenna configuration.
