In T4Win will preloading the XML files for the systems have a negative effect? Example I have a fair amount of info from Etrunker and Trunker. Can I load the TG's into XML format for the SysyId's from Etrunker and Trunker? What is the prefferred format? Should I leave the last used blank or 0? This would be as an example for TG's not yet heard on a new system.

Here I have 12+ sites that utilize a lot of the same TG's and it would be nice to not have to enter a bunch of info 12+ times.

You can leave out attributes that are blank or have no value.

Radio channels must have an LCN and an output frequency. Talkgroups and radio ids must have an id number. See the "T4Win_XML" document for more details.

The most important thing to do is make sure your hand-edited XML file remains a valid XML file. You can use IE to preview the file. If there is a typo that breaks XML syntax, IE will display the offending line number and column position.

Porting Etrunk txt logs to T4win XML file

What is the easiest way to port my talk group alpha tags from etrunk to the t4win XML file? I'm OK with editing the XML file by hand, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an easier way before I started editing 75 plus lines of XML by hand.

Thanks,
