Pre programming Pro96 or Pro97 for Portland trip,help!

I want to program my Pro97 or Pro96 for a trip to Portland. . . I'm looking at

Do I just need to program in the simulcast frequencies in order to monitor the entire system?

You need 4 banks for the 4 counties around Portland. They are all Motorola II systems.
Here are the control channel freqs. you need. No other freqs. needed.
Portland (Multnomah county). 858.7125, 858.7375, 859.2625, 859.4625.
Washington county. 859.2375, 859.7375, 860.2375, 860.7375.
Clackamas county. 867.4375, 867.8625, 868.2625, 868.7625.
Clark county, WA. 859.7625, 859.9375. 860.7625, 860.9375.
You'll have to pour through the lists of talk groups to figure out which ones you want. There are hundreds in use.

Thanks for your help. It looks like I'll be down that way around the first week of August,for how long,I don't know?! I'll use the Scannerstuff:Northwest frequency directory to program other frequencies of interest soon. .

Follow up. Well my trip to the Portland area will be from the Washington state side. But still close enough to be able to monitor the communications in Portland. I am very excited. I'll be there for just a few days. But,fun filled days I am sure.
