Private message notice

I no longer get a notice on the main board when I have private messages waiting. Is that feature available with the new software?

Click on User CP, then Edit Options. In the Private Messaging section make sure the Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up setting is enabled.

You can also have the site email you, but that is another choice under the "Edit Options" part of the UserCP.

this might also be a bug in VB.

Theres another forum I used to spend a lot of time on, and it would not always pop up with the box/notice.

I run a VB forum. This one is using v3.08 which is the most current release. 3.5 is still Beta. -Rod-
