I'm looking also. Even when radio shack had it the site layout was a joke. I should have put it on a disk for future need.

I setup a link on my dropbox for the 2.1 cpu update and the 1.4 dsp update including the pdf instructions.
You'll find if you have 1.8 cpu or higher the 2.1 update will update the dsp to 1.4. If you have 1.7 cpu or lower you will have to run the 1.4 dsp update.

So far what I have seen after Radio Shack red-did their website seems a lot of files have gone missing, including these unfortunately.

i buy a new scanner pro 197
i have up v1.7 ...... dsp v1.3 ..... voc v1 ......... i live in canada, i don't find the flex step option for frequency band..... i dont have the program cable .......... with this new version 2.1 can i have the option flex step option......... if not, i will sale this radio .......... i'm not able to program frequency 166.62 ........ if yes, i will buy the program cable and try it

Are there any New CPU upgrades Available for the Radio Shack Pro-106?

I did an upgrade in 2012, my Firmware is;

Nope, 2.1 is the latest firmware upgrade available.

Should RadioShack ever want to support their old products, which they probably won't, there is an unreleased 2.3 that needs to be approved by them for release to the public.

This release for the PSR500/600 was never approved by Radio Shack for the Pro-106/197
