Is there a way to get the pro-106 to automatically update the the CTCSS ?

Update the scanner automatically when it receives a channel with a ctcss tone? I have been updating my scanners ctcss tones by going through my win500 log files and just wanted to know if there was an easier way to do it?

It will display whatever tone format is transmitted at the time, if you have it set to search. When it displays a pl, dcs tone then you can add that tone as a addition to a entry in your scan lists. Or you can leave it in search to catch other tones which might be used.
