Pro-106 DAC value?

Under battery info, it shows the voltage on the right side, and a three digit number on left. The manual refers to this as DAC, however no definition of what DAC is. Any info is appreciated. scannerdweeb

If the manual says "DAC" (Digital to Analog Converter), it's wrong. It should say "ADC" (Analog to Digital Converter).

In any case, the value shown on the scanner's display is merely a raw digital value read from an ADC connected to the battery. There's a direct relationship between that value and the "volts" shown on the display.
