I've read that the PRO-197 as well as the GRE models can be programmed with NAC codes so you only hear radio traffic on a trunked system using those codes. How do i get my PRO-197 to tell me what NAC codes are being used on the systems I'm scanning and program those codes into those system banks?

I'm pretty sure you can only use NAC for conventional digital signals. I'm not sure how it works on P25 standard systems, but on the Motorola digital systems I've scanned, all of the digital traffic has the same NAC.

NAC codes only apply to Conventional P25 frequencies as far as the Pro-197 is concerned. Trunked frequencies are controlled by the control channel data stream.
