Pro 2051 vs BCT8: Differences?

I just had the oppurtunity to program a Pro 2051 for a friend of mine. I don't have any previous experience with the BCT8, but from reading the manual it seems like both models are very similar, with the exception of the amount of channels. This got me thinking as to what the big differences are between the two models. Can anyone shed some light?

PS: Is there any software out for the 2051? I couldn't find any using a google.

the 2051 has signal stalker and more channels. That's about it I think.
