pro-92b trunking problems help please

Make sure the LCN order is exact, do not start with a Channel 00 memory slot and the bank and channels are set for EDACS wide.

LCN-1 851.1000 = Goes in a Channel 1 slot
LCN-2 851.8875 = Goes in a Channel 2 slot
LCN-3 852.3875 = Goes in a Channel 3 slot
LCN-4 852.9125 = Goes in a Channel 4 slot
LCN-5 853.4625 = Goes in a Channel 5 slot
LCN-6 851.7125 = Goes in a Channel 6 slot
LCN-7 852.6750 = Goes in a Channel 7 slot

WS Electronics apparently did the same thing they did when rebanding the Clinton County system. They left the old frequencies in to make sure the radios that have not yet been reprogrammed will continue working. Here is the corrected LCN order and I have made the changes to the database listing;

LCN-1 866.1000 dead
LCN-2 866.8875 dead
LCN-3 867.3875 dead
LCN-4 868.4625 dead
LCN-5 868.7125 dead
LCN-6 866.7125 dead
LCN-7 867.6750 dead
LCN-8 853.4875 talkaround
LCN-9 851.1000 active control channel
LCN-10 851.7125 active
LCN-11 851.3875 active
LCN-12 852.9125 active
LCN-13 851.8875 active
LCN-14 852.6750 active
LCN-15 853.4625 active

They have also added three more Citywide talkgroups that have also been added to the database;

1573 Citywide- 5
1574 Citywide- 6
1575 Citywide- 7


Give it a try with this correction and let us know how it works.

Well, I think I know what you're asking, so I'll give it a shot:

they r in lcn order

Correct. They have to be in LCN order starting with 01, not 00.

i have to have them in am or fm

It should default to FM. AM is not correct.

if you're trying to listen to an EDACS system, ED. For an LTR system, LTR. For a Motorola system, MOT. PL and DPL are for conventional frequencies only and do not apply for a trunked system.

It works fine for me except for some random burst of encryptio maybe? Thats what it sounds like, may be wrong! I have it i FM and receive just fine other than that. Don't know whats wrong with his. And I keep hearing Fire Department. Medic 51, Engine 35...

well my scanner took a crap cuz i was messing with the insides and turned a magnetic screw and screwed the Fm and all modes except am and thats what i receive the city on and so im getting a pro-164 i do beleive next week i already got a bnc to coax connector today so yea ill ask for guys help next week

Interesting. That shows up under the trunking license. Sounds like they are using it for a non-digital talkaround frequency.

What? 860.6375 is their SCAT site in Springfield, not Beavercreek.
That SCAT site is there solely for the business users on the system when they have to be in that area.
Still if you want to program it in, you use only that frequency in a bank programmed into a Channel 1 slot and set it to EDACS.
