right off the top of my head:

while trunking the first sys, hit data and then the number that corresponds to the other system and sees if it flashes like the first

I'm pretty sure you can't scan both lettered banks at once

pro 94 programming more than two trunk systems

I had to reset the scanner and start out fresh :) then i punched in the motorola 1 on bank 1 and EDACS on bank 2 both on Bank A. its humming along fine. I just wonder why I can't enter more than 2 trunk systems and only monitor 2 and it still work. I had 4 trunk systems on it and it got confused I guess. Unless maybe I don't have all my ducks in order and is doing something wrong..programming wise ? :D and still I wonder.

as long as you have only one system (one control channel) per bank, it should scan as many systems as banks selected or programmed

control stations ?

I take it the first freq. in a group is the control? or how do i determine which is the control. I just noticed that the scanner says Dual Trunking right on the front..what exactly does this mean :?: . I have been thru the manual twice now but the guy who wrote it must have been a real brain cause I am missing something for sure..

dual trunking refers to the two (dual) system types it can track: mot and edacs

the control channel is the data channel: the one freq that is always transmitting an unintelligible stream of noise

with mot, the freqs need not be in any particular order; edacs does mandate a particular order

where are you? which systems are in question?

PRO-94: As long as you program all your TRS's in different banks such as- bank-1=MOT I, bank-2=MOT II, bank-3=ED, and the ED system is in LCN order,.. and your close eneough to get all three systems CC's, then you should have no issues at all in scanning all three.... and if its a 94 B, then you can also program in conventional in the other banks in side A and be able to monitor all three trs's and the conventional with no problems.... When your dealing with the dual system.. aka Side A chans 1-500, and Side B chans 501-1000 you can only scan one side at a time. That is the only real issue I have ever had with the PRO-94, that you cant run all 1000 chans at onece,... only 500 at a time, unlike its big brother the PRO-2052.

and as the fog starts to lift...I am in the San bernardino/Fontana/Calimesa/Area in So. California. I am clear on the Side A and Side B of it  , I think that was the building block which I kept running into. I am going to put them in different banks, Side A and see what happens. The scanner has a little block with an A in it after the cat # 20-524 on back so it must be an A :?: So this means I can ony run 500 at a time is all :?: by the way , you sure are all a great big help and would make fine TopGun flight instructors  Thank you (wish i could actually say and mean that to radio shack people).
