PRO 96 need help with settings

I have a pro 96, i live in Baltimore co MD and i would like to get Baltimore co fire dept and Baltimore city fire dept on the scanner.I program the scanner and cant hear anything. but i dont know how to change the settings for it to work on the digital system. i had it working like 6 months ago but had it put away thought i would listen to it again.can anyone help me.

Whether you can copy either the city or county depends greatly on where you are in relation to the various transmitter sites. Without knowing more specifically about your location, it's next to impossible to make a more detailed diagnosis.

Bottom line is that if you are within coverage of more than one site, you will have problems receiving them well. It will take experimentation to find out what works in your area.

It's quite possible that from where you are, one system will come out copyable, the other not.
