I cant seem to find , any help in these areas :


I'd like to review all Talkgroups programed in

Id like to EDIT- TEXT the names of some of the TG



I have the manual , but cant seem to find that info...

Any help would be GREAT!!

Save yourself some grief - get a USB-serial cable (RS has 'em) and Win96 from Starrsoft. Dump your programming, and have at it.

I agree with Mike about getting software to make your life easier.


But for now, go to the active control channel (MAN that channel # MAN) for the TRS you want to edit TG's in and press PGM then TRUNK, that should put you onto a TG, you can scroll up or down through the rest of em from there. To edit an alpha tag there just hit TEXT and type away!

Thank you I did read the wiki...didnt show what I needed...think tho I found it myself....I had thought they might be a short cut site out there...thats ok...as I said...I think I have it now.
