Trying to program my dad's pro 97 with a fresh factory initialization. I'm trying to program 859.56250 it's giving me an invalid channel error.

Mine took that frequency with no problems. I wonder if there is a Canadian version of the PRO-97 (different firmware). Also, I typically program using WIN97, you might try that (www.starrsoft.com).
