Anybody here familiar with ProTools? I use it with a Tascam 24-track studio to record soundtracks, I work from home doing soundtracks for a video production company that does a little bit of everything - I recently did the music background for a restaurant training video, a bass fishing instructional video and a series of real estate videos that does 360* video tours of homes on the market. Since I haven't been going to LA lately, they want me to do the SMPTE time code editing scratch tracks here at my home studio. I am looking for SMPTE time code software to integrate with ProTools to put the music onto the video file they send me. My boss has suggested Vegas Pro 18. Since I am considered a private contractor, I have to pay for it (and later claim as expense on taxes) so I am looking for something affordable. Any ideas?
