Would someone please be kind in explaining how to get the Pro-Voice upgrade downloaded step by step, after you go into your register your Uniden radio's. I did what Uniden said about downloading the 1.06.00 then uploading the program to your Sentinel, to download the Pro-Voice but when I created a program with the Pro-Voice it doesn't show on the Sentinel at all. How does one get it to the Radio? Any help would be appreciated.

Glad that worked out for you---- it can be very confusing, especially for folks who have not done one of the paid upgrades in any of the Uniden scanners before. Unfortunately, there is no easier way for it to be done that would allow Uniden to protect its investment in the licensing for Provoice and to keeps its proprietary designs in check.

Bahahahahah! so let me see if I understand this, Uniden wants to sell an update to a select few for a scanner that is incomplete to begin with? i've been waiting for 2 years on the siren app! OMG!

I bought a $600 scanner that advertised an option that it didn't have, why should I have to spend more money to get what I've already paid for?
did you go out and buy an iphone or did you already have one?
the x36 radios work great, but not without issues.
I would have already sold these radios if they were all that bad, but buying an iphone (of which I would never own because i can't stand apple products), is not the answer!

But the bottom line is that Provoice dropped out of the sky like a bolt out of the blue, and as disturbed as I was still not having what was originally promised, here was something that I could actually use when I am in Jersey. If it was being sold at the old price of upgrades (99.00), no way, but at 49,99, it was well worth the investment.
I know---- we're still waiting for Siren for Android and the completion of the Analyze functions. And it took a pair to do what they did, but life goes on and we've got to take it one day at a time.
Perhaps there is still some hope.
For all we know, they have been working on the ProVoice licensing longer than they have been working on the x36 series.
As for the complaint that it was released, some users have been waiting for it much longer than the Android app.
