If you are talking about 'mixing' conventional analog channels with P25 conventional channels (not trunked), sure, no problem. As far as a trunked system goes, you are simply assigning it to a scan list to link the talkgroups to be scanned. Again, no problem doing this either. I haven't found any specific disadvantage, or advantage, to doing this.
