I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. I have a RS Pro-2053 and put in Bixby and Jenks EDACS but haven't heard anything on it. I don't know if it's how I programmed them in or something else.

I put the freqs in, in LCN order as listed on the site here and the bank is set to EDACS. Now they just have to be in order anywhere in the bank right? Ex. I have LCN 01 in channel 00 and LCN 02 in channel 01.

I also have both Jenks and Bixby in the same bank. Will that work?

I've been sitting at 101st and Memorial for a few hours (I'm at work), so I shouldn't be out of range. The scanner did pop up with Bixby PD but it was just static for a short time.

Do I need to put Jenks in a different bank from Bixby and is there anything else to check? I've double checked the freqs and talk group ID's (entered in dec format).

Thanks.

Mike,
In order to scan Bixby and Jenks there are few things you need to do that you are not doing. Let me help.

1) Enter the the frequencies in LCN order and that means start with channel 1 and not 0 in the scanner. So it will be 1-5 on both sytems.

2) You must enter each system in a bank of it's own. The scanner will not do 2 EDACS systems in the same bank.

3) If you need any further help give me a PM. Good luck...

That's what I was thinking I was doing wrong. Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try in the next few days and see if I can get it going.
