problems with my second pro 95- help?

Yep. I've got that too, but mine is shaped like Cuba instead of like the dead Playboy Bunny on yours.

I've had mine since June of 2003, and have had no problems with the scanner whatsoever.

HI all my first pro95 had something like this on the LCD and i returned it to Radio Shack for a new one. The new one i have NOW has NO SPOTS ON LCD AT ALL even when in the dark with the light on. So i would think that this is not normal.

Hold on; let me jump in the closet, and I'll be right back.
No spot, but it's a little blotchy. I'm happy with the control channel reception, but I hate the fact that I can't QUICKLY get to a talkgroup.

I bought a 95 about 2 weeks ago.
I don't have that LED defect.

On the scanning question, I can't speak for trunked, but when you're scanning, to go to a programmed channel fast (such as 235)

If you have a PRO-95 with a green light then it was modded for that. Did you buy the radio used?

edit: sorry I was thinking of my PRO-96 when I said that. My 95 was green too.

Mine is green as well.

Perhaps after all the problems mentioned earlier about spots, they switched to a different screen.
