• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

    Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value.     The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

    For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Program IC-F30 to alert 2tone pagers

Hello all, first time poster so I apologize if I am breaking any protocols. I am looking for someone whom I can pay to help program an ICOM IC-F30 portable radio, where the end result is to trigger a 2tone Motorola Minitor 5 or 6 pager. I often have volunteer firefighters whom have emergency pagers fall off their belts while working. When this happens, if I can get there before the batteries die, the idea would be to use the ICOM to trigger the pager, thus we can hear it and go find it and save the fire department a bunch of cash to have to buy a new one.
I have the radio, the software and the cable, and I have programmed different channels already on it, but have never figured out how to make the radio trigger the pagers. Would anyone be willing to help me get there and make a few bucks in return?
I can test any programming, as I have the radio and pager with me 24/7.

Maybe @jeatock could chime in? I am open to any ideas. Thank you in advance all. This looks like a great community.​
