I have the 2 Departments programed in the same scan list with the TG ID's & frequency's & no TAG ID's showing in the window.

It might be helpful to take a photo and then attaching it to the forums to show us what you're seeing. I'm having a fairly hard time understanding what you're seeing if you don't see a tag.

Here's an example from the Easier to Read Pro-106/197/PSR500/600 Digital Scanner Manual. When you program a new analog conventional frequency, you are given a menu to set several settings. In the Freq: menu, you enter the conventional analog frequency you want to monitor. There's a menu called Tag: and this is the text that will be displayed while scanning. After that is programmed and your scanner stops on that object, it should look like the bottom. The text that says 'FIRE' is programmed into the Tag: and the Freq: 153.95. The Pro-106 will flash between the Tag: and the scanlist name.

This is what my scanner shows for TSYS. It does NOT show any thing for analog tags when scrolling in the window. HOW EVER, when the analog departments talk they do appear in the window, that's the only time you see them.

I am to the point where I'm not worried about it no more. I have the 2 Departments programed in the same scan list with the TG ID's & frequency's & no TAG ID's showing in the window. I appreciate the help from every one, Thanks. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all

If the trunk system is busy, the conventional frequencies will have a hard time showing up in the same scan list.
It would be easier if you programmed them in a different scan list. This way you could be sure that the tags you assigned those two frequencies would show up.
Again, software would make sure that you had the scanner set up they way you want.

That is because they are not a part of the trunk system. Even though they are in the same scan list. You would not see them if the trunk system is more active than the conventional frequencies.

Larry is right. The only tags you will see is what is associated with the frequency that is active (where the scanner stops). All conventional frequencies will only have one tag. Trunked systems will possibly have multiple tags (from all the talkgroups you program in). If you have more than one trunked system in the same scanlist then those are separate and will have separate tags. The tag you see is that particular agency talking at that moment as in your pic, that is KTA 1. I'm not sure who that is but maybe "Kansas Transportation Agency 1" or something. You will only see the tags when a frequency is active.
