I have had my SDS 200 for years and I thought I was pretty good at managing the programing. Then a few weeks ago I programed a friend's SDS 100 with my Favorite lists. Later I realized that I did not change the "Target". The programing went just find and I see no difference.

So I ask: is there a difference?

Yes. What model did you leave on your friend’s?

Some things that are different between models:
display customization
support for site NAC
filters
battery/charge parameters

The core of the favorites list is common but there are some fields available for some models that aren’t there for others. The profile setting probably has biggest differences.

Target model only really matters when you want to change something in the Profile in Sentinel. I download to 100's, 200's and 436HP and never change the target. When you download the pop-up box shows you which model it's going to download to and downloads the correct data.

I up loaded from my computer to his SDS 100 then had him download to his computer and saved it with my name. Then, since the favorites lists are shared between profiles, he re-loaded to his SDS 100 using his profile.

I guess this should avoid the differences.

Thanks for the insights
