I need to program a 4 channel M1225 Radius to scan 2 channels, but I would like 1 of the 2 to be a priority channel.
I'm unable to test the two channels that I will need to program as the radio will be in another location and these 2 channels are too far away to be received.
I'm guessing that on the scan window I select Priority Type as "Single Priority"?
Then Do I select the channel that I want to be the priority channel as the "Priority One Channel"?
Does enabling "Priority Channel Tone" cause a tone when it switches to the Priority Channel?
Does "Priority Sampling Rate" change how often the Priority Channel is monitored when on another channel?
And just curious is there a way to set more than one priority channel if desired for possible future use? I didn't see a way to do this.
Thanks for any help, I tried to search for an answer and failed. For now I programmed a NOAA weather channel that I can receive then another nearby station that transmits from time to time but so far after about an hour it has never switched over so I'm wondering if I didn't program it properly.
