So i'm wondering if i put for example 100 frequencies into my scanlist file and i set two of those frequencies to high priority will it then when scanning always jump to those two frequencies no matter what? like i know if i did put 100 frequencies into my scanlist to scan it would be really slow because less is more when it comes to scanning but i'm thinking that i could scan all my frequencies but still have my top main channels that i want to hear above everything else still happen even tho i am scanning so many other frequencies.

So yeah if i did put all the frequencies that i can pick up into my scanlist and then make the priority of my top two frequencies the highest would i still always hear those top two frequencies even if it's having to scan a bunch of frequencies. I guess what i'm saying is i don't want having to many frequencies in my scanlist make me miss the channels i for sure want to hear so if making those channels top priority would it still go to them even if it's scanning 100 frequencies. I hope this makes some sense lol. Thanks

No. There are no settings for priority in the scanlist.

I know u can't set the priority in the scanlist file what i'm talking about is in the channel activity windows i'm able to right click to increase and left click to decrease the priority number. and when i go into the groups file it shows the priority of the frequency that i have in my scanlist. here is a screenshot of what i'm talking about. So i'm just asking if i have like 30 frequencies in my scanlist and i change two of those frequencies to like 20 and leave all the other ones at 50 will i always hear those two frequencies even tho it is scanning alot of frequencies ? not sure if u get what i'm saying or not .

Think you’re misreading something. Groups file has nothing to do with frequencies

Pretty sure priorities in groups and are only followed when in trunked mode. When using a scan list, you are not in trunked mode.

That list isn't read when scanning individual frequencies, when in scan mode it isn't doing trunking it is only scanning the frequencies.

I have never done any dPMR, but the tgid's look off. Pretty sure dPMR tgid/rid range is from 0 to like 9999999

Ok so if i have a dmr frequency and a coventional p25 frequency and a nxdn frequency in my scanlist and i change the priority number in the channel activity window like in the screenshot i sent so that will not make it become priority over the others even tho it lets me change the priority number? is that what u are saying?

Your changing a TGID's priority, not the frequency. 🍎 & 🍊's
