Programming BC780 XLT for Trunked freqs

I'm trying to program my scanner for the NYC OEM Freqs. I programmed all the NYC DOITT freqs into my BC780XLT but when I put the TGID's into the scanner I get an error message that says' ......does not appear to be a valid talk group for the current fleet map or system type'. I have the scanner set to 800 type II. Can someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? I'm using the WinScan 780 program.

Winscan I have that somewhere - what comes to mind is maybe your on hex mode instead of decimal mode for the format - I'll have to dig that software out , forgot I even had it until I saw this.

p.s. NICE SCANNERS - I love the 780 I have TWO - one "tapped" I use here at home and I have another one mounted to the shelf where I work.
