Hello,
This probably was discussed before, but I couldn't find the answer.
My question is: I have BR330T with UASD software (registered) and ARC330 (trial)
also I have Pro-97 with Win-97.
Is there any way to program conv. and especially trunked systems into BR330T the way it's done in Pro-97 via Win97 ? I mean just transfer the data from RR without any manual typing, copying/pasting , etc.?

Thanks.

ARC330 will import from the radioref database just like Win97.

Thanks for reply.
I downloaded ARC330 demo. I can successfully import and create a system in the software (I tried NYC DOITT ) Everything looked nice and easy. But after I sent it to the scanner, all trunked freqs become: 0.00000 ?! hence the scanner scans empty space while all TGs, IDs, alfa tags are there. Just no frequencies..
Does it have some kind of bug in it so I can't use the ARC330 full power in demo mode? I thought I can download up to 30 systems in demo mode as it says in the popup message.
Maybe I'm missing something. Could you, please, clarify that ?
I don't mind buying the full version, I just want to make sure.

Thanks.

The only limitation is the number of systems that you can upload. We tried this systems and downloads/uploads fine to scanner.

I'm sure that everything works fine for you. I'm just trying to figure out how to make it work for me too..

OK, I transferred the system from RR to ARC330. Everything looks fine. Channel frequencies, TGID names, numbers, descriptions, everything on it's place.
But as soon as I click : BR330 > Send data , the frequencies in the grid changing from this :

(which is how they should be )
857.93750
858.93750
859.93750
860.93750

to this :

857.00000
858.00000
859.00000
860.00000

or to this :

0857,93750.0
0858,93750.0
and so on..

And that's how they are sent to the scanner..

Is this familiar to anyone? I spent two days fighting with it and no avail.

Please, Help !

Try sending the system to the radio itself without paying any attention to what happens in the software. Sometimes I notice that there is a little lag in the screens being updated, or in showing screens from other groups...etc...but the software works as advertised.

By the way Grommert is Arcsoftware. No one else knows it better then he.

This can happen when your Windows international settings are set to use a comma as decimal seperator and the scanner doesn't like that. In the Windows international settings change the decimal seperator from ',' to '.'

I've tried. The frequencies on the scanner are shown the same way. 8xx.0000 or 0.0000. All groups are there and correct, only the frequencies are screwed up so the scanner scans thru the system with no frequencies..

I know Grommert is The man and I'm sure that ARC is the best software for the 330 according to the forum and no doubt it works as advertised. And I'm sure that this is some kind of glitch. I hoped that Grommert can give some tips to fix this

Thanks for reply.

Yes, Yes, Yes !!!

Grommert, you ARE the MAN !!!

I also have Russian language in my computer, where comma used as a decimal separator. I changed it to "." as you suggested and everything is working just perfect now.
I would never figure that out by myself in my entire life !

Thank you very very much!!

Now I can buy a full version so I can program conventional systems too.
