I got a SC150 Handheld Scanner today, And I need help programming it. I've been successful on programming it for some frequencies. But not the ones I actually want to listen to. I've searched Google all day. And also have read the Manual over and over, and still can't figure out how to program it for what I want. I need help programming it to listen to frequencies that only have a (2) or (3) Digit DEC. Like I said, I've been successful on programming it to all the other frequencies I want, just not the ones with (2-3) Digit DEC's. Any help would be Much Much Appreciated!

Welcome to RR. Unfortunately, SC150 does not do trunking, and that is what you are trying to program. I couldn't find the system from which your images were taken, but you will need to get something like a 246 or 346 to get it. It also does not offer the steps needed to program the newer narrowband VHF/UHF "splinter" conventional frequencies that some agencies are using. I notice that Stafford County is digital, so you would need a BC396XT for those.

It looks like the lists you posted are the Talk Group ID's for a trunked system, unfortunately the SC150 will not scan a truncked system (at least that was why I ended up selling mine years ago, the county I live in went to 800mhz trunked). Also be aware that some of the SC150 came out before the cellphone block was required.
