Hi,
I've had my BC780 for quite a while and up until now only had Smart Zone 5 programmed into one of the scan banks. I know multiple zones can be programmed into a single bank as long as they aren't within the same listening area of the control channel.

This radio will be installed in a moble application and was hoping for some advice as to which Smart Zones can be put in the same bank as another.

The Smart Zones I'd like to use are:

Smart Zone 3
Smart Zone 4
Smart Zone 5
Smart Zone 7
Smart Zone 8

Any advice as to which zones can be put together without conflict?

Thanks

lstew2;

I've put all the MSP smartzones in one bank on my Pro95 and it works fine, the only thing I found I had to do is put the primary zone (zone 5 in my case) in the first position. I live in the zone 5 area. I really can't receive any other zone so the others are not a problem. All you need to do is lock out the primary zone and you'll get the next zone in the channel sequence. If you are traveling it doesn't really matter since you'll probably loose one zone before you get the next. MPS transmits quite a few talkgroups accross zones.

I've attached a P95 text file that may help demonstrate what I've done.
