Programming PSR800

Is there a way to program or add frequencies and talk groups to the PSR800 without a computer? Curious.

I do not believe there is. Read this:
While you can edit objects and import from the library with just the scanner, there are some things you can't do with the scanner and have to do with the software including program/edit single frequencies, set receive mode, set/pre-store CTCSS/DCS/NAC tones/codes (you can store on the fly), set delay time, toggle audioBoost, channel digital mode, toggle LED latch, update the scanner firmware/DSP, and then programming and settings of all trunking systems and sites.

Of course there is. That is why the radio has a Library. The Library is everything that is in www.radioreference.com as of the previous Saturday.

Without a computer, you won't be able to update the library. So, if you're happy with what is on the SD card, you can use it to program the scanner.
