Most likely, the main DPS channel that you might hear, would be RPT 13, which is the Aledo site, used by troopers in Parker County to talk to DPS-Mineral Wells dispatch.

Wife says no problem, my I.T. here ,believe i need one that would be great. does it add to what i have or erase all and dupe yours?
For the PSR-500 (and the related scanners, as I mentioned above in response to your "clone" question), the programming file always overwrites whatever is in the scanner. You cannot add/change or otherwise modify a file & only send that update to the radio. It's all or nothing.
Almost done with a file, then I'll email it.

You can always delete or lockout anything that does not interest you, save the changes, and then load the modified file.

Although I did not add them, you should also be able to hear Dallas Fire-Rescue, and many of the Dallas PD channels, as well as Grand Prairie.
See if what's loaded now suits you, and if you want 'more' later, they can always be added.
