I would like to program one trunk-system data channel in to the scanner and let the scanner decode the data, but I have not found the way in the manual.

Also how do I program a trunk-system using Sentinel software?

Thank you!

In Sentinel, create a new Favorites List, then a new System, new Site, then add the control channel. Actually, that's the same means for the scanner itself.

Make sure both are using ID SEARCH. I would also put a dummy channel in with a TG so the system sees at least one "scannable" channel. (just in case)

When you say, "a dummy channel." You mean a frequency?

For trunked it would be a talkgroup. You will need the frequencies (control channels) in the Site - that's where the frequencies go. You could get away with only the primary control channel in some cases, but best to add all the control channels for the site (that will be up to four).
