Proscan and 96dpi resolution

I've searched and maybe I'm just not getting it right. But, just wondering what workarounds folks have found, if any,

When I turn on Proscan it warns me it doesn't play well with higher resolutions as it wants 96dpi. So, I accept that warning and run the software. And yeah, the interface looks like it doesn't like the high res. Basically unreadable. I'm sure this is common. but not really seeing it mentioned.

Any thoughts on this. Maybe I'm just missing that memo? lol.

That's awesome. I use one, paid etc. and get it. Thanks for the advice! How many copies did you have to buy before it went away? 16th one was the charm?

Ahh, Thank you for the reply. I'll look it over. It's not a dedicated machine and this app lives with others that use the high res.

I've got three machines running currently, A security VMS, a Plex video server and a basic machine for the house, May have to look into a lesser machine to run this on. Odd, I see screen grabs that look pretty good. Just figured I was doing something incorrectly.

You can install as may copies on the same PC does not matter it is just one license per PC

Ok, I've tried the workaround. But, being a Win 7 machine, the options are a bit different in that "Under "Settings," click the Change high DPI settings button" Is not there and it offers a 640 display for the application. So, that may be a reason the workaround is not helping.

So, it unfortunately didn't change the output of what is within the "display". It changed the resolution of the display as a whole, not the alpha/numeric characters within the display. If description that makes sense.

With or without the workaround, the rest of the program looks fine and is perfectly readable.


So... The display looks like this. "Brookpark Police"





And the warning i get upon starting Proscan. I'm sure most folks have seen it.



Nonetheless, thanks so much for responding and taking time with me. Really enjoy ProScan, it has been super helpful.

I'll have other questions about setting up a webserver later as soon as I sort some things out.
