Why not here? Several people may chime in sharing their knowledge. Others may learn something too.
If you want help, advise on the scanner type, and where you're at in the setup.

Ok here goes…. I got a new router TP link AX5400. It is downline from my cable provider router. I upgraded a LAN switch to a faster one also inline. My pc gets fast internet. My BCT15X talks to the pc in proscan just fine serial cable. I was using NoIP.com and proscan webserver. My old pc was working fine so I copy and pasted the proscan cfg file to the new pc. Old pc was win 10 new is win 11. My settings and passwords all showed up. I refreshed the “get my ip” in proscan web server page. I got in to the TP-Link settings, NAT Forwarding/ Port forwarding/ set up my new pc ip and port 5000. I set my new pc in network settings to static ip. I don’t get the page to open on my xxxxx.ddns.net:5000 page. I’m thinking there’s something not correct there? If anyone sees a missed step let me know.

Probably your network is on a different IP address then what is set in the NOIP settings.
I would first check that the router Port Forwarding is setup correctly. Use Open Port Check Tool -- Verify Port Forwarding on Your Router with the Web Server running and select the same port that's set in the Web Server. If the server can't be seen then check that the Port Forwarding is setup correctly. If the server can be seen then I would check that the NOIP IP address setting matches your IP address.

I ran into this a few weeks back when I upgraded our router. I ended up needing to go into no-ip and manually update the IP address. Does your new router have a dynamic DNS client? That's generally the easiest way to keep it updated.

Double NAT occurs when you connect your router to an ISP gateway or another router. Because NAT is performed by each router or gateway, your network is split into two different private networks. The devices connected to one private network might have communication problems with the devices connected to the other private network, and you might experience problems with:

Online games
VPN connections
Port forwarding and triggering
Secure websites that use SSL
