PSERN Encryption Update

Hopefully main dispatch stays in the clear
just an observation here, I am visiting so not a resident of the area.
PSERN is reporting two sites that I cannot hear and do not have RR dB entries.
Site 29 858.7125 (CC)
and
Site 30 859.4625 (CC)
these are reporting in DSD+ but I cannot hear them.

That's because they're way off to the NE and E part of the county.

I don't think Snohomish County is going to encrypt all of it's New SNO991 system just Law Enforcement. I been following developments on the SNO911r radio system for several years now, and they have have said all that long that Law enforcement will be encrypted, but fire and mutual aid will not encrypted. So far good Snohomish County Fire and Mutual are now posted now posted on the Radio Reference Data Base and listed as Trunked with TDMA capability (T) and not Encrypted (E). This being done in many place across the nation thought a few places do encrypted everything.

I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere- does the Q2 2026 encryption potentially include Seattle Fire?
