PSP Channel Coverage Question

I wanted to believe that being a high school graduate but then also having not ever worked for them, I was not 100% sure of what "East" and "West" was to the actual agency.

As Clint said, you're not going to hear much at this point, but in the past, both the Tac East and West channels have been used in this corner of the state for various ops. It's been quite a while since I heard any PSP ops on either of those channels in this area (last year, or maybe back in January?).

PSP now primarily operates on the StarNet Open Sky trunked system which you cannot listen to on your scanner. I keep the old VHF channels in my scanner just in case but since our area migrated to the new system I haven't heard anything on those old channels, dispatch or tac.

That's not to say that your area might not be diferent, but it will probably be awfully quiet.

And, as was stated already, tac. channels are fairly quiet anyway.
