PSR 500: Sweeper Distance ?

Hello,

What distances are you folks estimating that you can pick up using "Sweeper" on the 500 ?

Pretty much the same for AM or FM transmissions ?

This varies considerably. I've gotten base stations over half a mile away. I haven't targeted mobiles and portables enough to get a feel for it.
