Out of the blue, my PSR600 suddenly started making a continuous beeping sound, as if a key was being repeatedly pressed. Now, it won't pause on a transmission or anything. I do notice that if I hold down the navigation button that the beeping stops and it begins acting normally. As soon as I release the button, the problem returns. I've tried turning the scanner off and back on again, but the problem is still there. I do notice on the bootup screen that there is an "F1.0" next to the "BOOTING" message. Also, if I hit the "MANUAL" button, it will briefly pause, but then return to scanning but say that there is nothing enabled. I have had this scanner for a little over a year now, and it has never been hooked up to a computer. This is the first time that such a malfunction has occurred. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ASIDE: My PSR500 did this once, but rebooting it cleared the problem.

UPDATE: I hit the "SCAN" key a few times and the problem stopped.

I'll see what I can do. It did do it again, but rebooting it this time fixed it, although there is still an "F1.0" next to the "BOOTING" text on the startup screen.
