Go to Updates then Configure Proxy Server and make sure the Enable Proxy Server Support box is not checked, then try updating again.

Dear Sir, did that so many times , still get error.
I can within EZ scan - Help menue click "visit GREAmerica.com" I connect
to the website
using help menu in EZ scan click "GRE Support" I connect to the website
using help menu in EZ scan click " Visit RadioReference.com" I connect
to the website

I give up, nothing is blocking in my system (software, hardware, router)

Yep! I just went from v1.6 to v1.8 with no troubles at all... EZ-Scan updated without incident as well from v1.06 to v1.08. I updated the EZ-Scan software first, followed by the firmware and lastly the DSP.

Seems little, to nothing, done about the volume disparity between FDMA and TDMA. :(

Bittersweet that they've made this an offical release too. Doesn't bode well for the process of further improving things.

Just wondering if you were to select Audio Boost to the FDMA-only talkgroups if that would equalize the audio level with TDMA-only talkgroups??? Don't know specifics of the system you're monitoring and if the talkgroups of interest are dual-mode FDMA/TDMA or not.

Just a thought on a possible workaround...

I am still seeing that they are making improvements with this release which makes me scratch my head at your post.

I am going to purchase the PSR-800 just as soon as I can.

Yes they're dynamic, so any potential per talkgroup fix, would seem to be useless as it would effect both TDMA and FDMA.

Have you submitted a ticket to GRE explaining the issue?

Mentioned by myself and others several times during the beta testing phase, which seemed to be more than enough to get all other identified issues addressed.

I wouldn't rely on mentioning issues in threads on RR to get GRE's attention. If there is a known issue with the firmware, which there seems to be, create a ticket in GRE's support system and you will get a direct response from them.
