Hello,

If it is just one DMR system, then the system could be using RAS. Whistler added some RAS decoding improvements in 4.2 and there are several other mentions of DMR improvements.

I thought we had to stay on an older firmware or else it'll mess up the scanner. So how do I get those newer firmwares and upload them into the scanner?

Hello,

Since the experiment has ended, the best upgrade path is to get the Whistler upgrade. This provides you with upgrades and factory support for the scanner.

Sounds like some lawyers got involved in this puppy.
The information you seek is all in the forum archive. How to do Eric's update, what happened to cause him to stop working on it, why certain versions will cause your radio to be locked to DMR reception, and how for a measly $60 (which won't fill the tank in my diesel pickup if it's below a quarter) you can have the same support and updates as if you swapped your PSR-800 for a WS-1088.

No offense intended but...let the search function be your friend. I have advocated against spoon-feeding here before and I'm going to take my own advice about that in this thread.

Good advice about biting the bullet and sending it to Whistler. You will be able to take advantage of all their future upgrades.

Be sure to return it to the PSR800 state before sending in or you'll pay $89 instead of $59 for the conversion.

Back to the original question:
Did you manually program the DMR system? Try downloading from the RRDB and then see if it stops on a TG. If so, then make your tweaks

In your screen prints, you didn't show if you had any talkgroups programmed.

Hello,

The $89 price is for a locked scanner, which he does not have. The increased price is due to a needed board replacement.
