PSR-800 Upgrade Information

I've neglected upgrading my dusty PSR-800 for a long time now and finally want to do it.

Any link I've tried that I have found in here ends up being dead.

Is Whistler still doing the upgrade? If so, where can I find that information so I can pay for it and mail it to them?

Not that I am aware of. It took a few eMails and a couple of weeks before Goliad replied to my inquiry. Patience is a requirement.

I just contacted them about the upgrade since my power port went bad. They said they are NO LONGER upgrading the older units. Mine was an original when they first came out. I inherited several ones of the GRE PSR800 scanners due to deaths in the family but my Original one is dying after 15 years. Just can't justify $800 for the new Uniden.
