Howdy. Here's a WINE + PSREdit500 run report.

Wine version: 1.1.39 and 1.1.40
PSREdit500 version: 1.89 Release 4
Scanner: GRE PSR-600 with latest firmware
OS: Gentoo Linux

What works:
* Download of running memory from PSR600
* Upload of modified config to working memory on PSR500
* Manipulation of VScanner folders
* COM port access for everything except what's listed below.

What doesn't work:
* Scanner monitor from within PSREdit500 (No visible changes, but CPU becomes pinned at 100% until program exits)
* PSRCtl500.exe (See attached error message)

I have winetricks grabbing the following winetricks packages:

* allfonts vcrun6sp6 fontfix mfc42 ddr=opengl msxml3 msxml4 msxml6 dotnet11 dotnet20 dotnet30

GUI flickering evident with Win500 is not present with PSREdit. Uploads to scanner are also much faster. Haven't had the program crash on me after a few days of usage.

Follow-up:

After grabbing the FT2XX.* files from the included GRE PSR-600 CD and throwing them into the same directory as the PSREdit500 files, now PSRCtl500.exe works. A little buggy (sometimes the LCD goes "grey", then I click "End Session" and, magically, the LCD begins updating again), but it works!

So far, for me, PSREdit500 is working well. I bumped the version to the latest as of yesterday, and it works just as well.
