Under Putnam county there is a uhf fire link that shows it’s a link for 46.38 does Putnam county 911 use this as I have never heard any dispatch traffic or any traffic on it at all

That listing has been in the database since 2011, and was never licensed by anyone in the county as far as I can tell, so it's anyone's guess if it's actually a real thing. Even if it is/was, it was probably nothing more than a low power mobile radio setup as a link between low band sites.

Probably should just remove it if no one is detecting any activity on it in the area of the 911 center or anywhere else.

Actually, I never actually was bothered to listen to my recordings before. I finally got around to it, but the "Putnam link to 46.38," I'm hearing unrelated traffic so I'm picking up something else (Now I got to solve that mystery). So, my earlier response was not valid as I had never heard anything related to Putnam at all.

If I remember it was some half ass mobile link somewhere in Garrison. It was a couple of midland mobile slapped together with. I controller just using COR.

Use the link that Putnam Valley FD has.. I find that it has pretty decent coverage.

I wish someone would put up a link to mobile freq but I don't believe there is one

Do you know how far the Putnam valley fd repeater puts out I’m assuming it does not reach the east part of Putnam county which is where I am

Ehh it may be a reach. It probably covers out to Carmel and then it gets in the fringe
