Does anyone in the Putnam County area receive EMS broadcasts or have they joined with the fire do not receive any EMS broadcast if you are from the area and have any experience with Putnam county please let me know if you hear this.

Putnam EMS is part of Putnam Co Emergency Services and operates on the Putnam Co Fire channels

I am just moving to the area, and i am having a hard time tuning into the freqs. was wondering if they switched to a trunked signal or if i just suck...

They are not on a trunked system. Everything is VHF high band and heard at a long distance.

They are going to go to a Trunked System eventually. They are upgrading consoles now. The switch will probably be years away because of funding ,but they are on a course to switch. Google Putnam County P25 Radio System are something close and the plan documents should pop up. You will have to browse threw the documents to find it but it is there.

I don't see any P25 freq listed for Putnam Cnty. I did notice years ago they're licenses has this 7K60FXD 7K60FXE.

It's still years away from needing Frequencies. They just started updating consoles. I don't even think it is anywhere near even putting out an RFP for the System.
