Is Troop C on the old analog TRS, the new Astro-25 TRS, or on VHF? I live in Memphis, TN, and will be making trips to West Memphis, AR, and was wondering how to monitor them.

As of now they are still analog. The only troops fully digital are L,I, D, and B. E & F are the next to go digital.
And, if you need them, all of the new digital freqs are listed by troop in the files section of my yahoo group link below. RRdatabase has those that are active.

West Memphis is Troop D
If I'm not mistaken, West Memphis Arkansas State Police units are Troop D based out of Forrest City. I think Troop C is Jonesboro area.

Milf, you may be hearing Troop D in Crittenden County. Troop D is fully digital now. Troop C covers Poinsette, Craighead, Mississippi, Greene, Randolph, and Clay Counties. The freqs of Troop D are:

Troop C will only have sites in 2 counties when they go online, Randolph and Mississippi. As of right now, Troop C is supposedly still analog. But the digital freqs will be:
